An interesting mid-early variety of curly asparagus beans. At first, the pods are light green and flat, with a delicate taste and no parchment layer. In the process of ripening, the pods change color, burgundy stains appear on them. Beans are also stained red and white and grow in size.
Borlotto beans are cooked very quickly and are stored frozen for a long time, therefore they are a valuable find for making soups (there are no secrets and difficulties in growing these borlotto beans). The only prerequisite is to build a support or trellis, or just plant it along the fence. They are planted with unsoaked seeds in open ground in May.
