Tomato "VARTO".
Early, semi-determinate and compact variety, shade tolerant. The average yield per plant is about 37 fruits weighing 50 g.
It is grown both in a greenhouse and on the balcony and on the windowsill.

For 10 kg of tomatoes - 700 g of salt.
To dry-pickle tomatoes, select only red, undamaged tomatoes of the same degree of ripeness, wash them in clean water and let them dry a little.
The spices are prepared, washed, finely chopped, and then a layer of salt is poured into clean, dry barrels, on which the tomatoes are placed, and spices are sprinkled on top of them and again covered with salt.
Then lay the next row, again add spices and salt. Having filled the barrel with tomatoes in this way, it is placed in a cold room. After 7-8 days, the tomatoes will give juice and dissolve the salt.
The brine should cover the tomatoes: to prevent mold, sprinkle a little mustard on top and then seal it hermetically. Store tomatoes in a cold room.
