A decorative, perennial plant, cultivated as an annual, 20 cm high.
Blooms from late June until late frost.
Flowers of various colours: yellow, red, pink, white - are collected in racemose inflorescences.
It is cold-resistant, photophilous, and undemanding to soils, in a dry period needs watering. Grow seedlings.
Sowing is carried out from early March to mid-April. Shoots appear in 8-12 days. Seedlings are planted in the second half of May, the distance between plants is 20 cm. You can sow seeds in open ground before winter, in which case flowering begins in August.
