For early harvest, pumpkins are planted in sprouts grown in cups. For pumpkins to grow larger, remove part of the buds, leacing 2-3.
Grow best in areas protected from winds, in sandy loam or light loamy soil.
1 gram = 5 seeds.

Agrotechnics.
The best soils for pumpkins are sandy and light loamy. Pumpkin is sown when the soil warms up to + 10 + 12 ° С. Seeds are planted to a depth of 5-10 cm. 2-3 seeds are sown in one hole.
After germination, weak plants are removed. Pumpkin is also grown through seedlings, with planting in open ground at the age of one month (the phase of two or three true leaves). Long-climbing varieties are sown in an ordinary way according to the scheme 1.4x1.0 m. Bush pumpkin forms are sown in the square-nested method according to the scheme 80x60 cm.
Plant care includes - pinching the lateral lashes, pinching the main stem (after setting several fruits), watering, weeding, loosening and obligatory top dressing.
Harvest fruits as they ripen.
Growing features: for normal maturation, 2-3 ovaries are left on the plant, and the lashes are pinched. If the soil becomes too wet in autumn, it is recommended to place flat stones under the fruits for better ripening. Fruit harvesting is completed before the onset of frost.
