Mid-season, high-yielding variety. The period from germination to harvest is 90-100 days. The stems are very large, weighing 2.5-3.0 kg.
The pulp is tender and very juicy, rich in vitamins and mineral salts, prevents obesity and helps to reduce excess weight, generally heals the entire body. In cooking, kohlrabi is used both fresh and processed - boiled or stewed.
For kohlrabi, light loamy and sandy loamy soils are best suited. Seeds are sown for seedlings at the end of March. In open ground, seedlings are planted in late April - early May at the age of 35-40 days, with a distance between plants of 25-30 cm.In open ground, seeds are sown in early May to a depth of 2 cm. After the appearance of the first true leaf, the plants are thinned out, at a distance 10-15 cm. To remove two crops from one root, the stem root is cut, leaving the root with the lower part of the stem.
Care consists in loosening, watering and feeding. Kohlrabi is harvested when the stem crop reaches 7-10 cm in diameter.
