Due to the high content of ascorbic acid in them, they help the body fight infections, increase endurance and strengthen the immune system. They have a beneficial effect on the reproductive system and the condition of hair, bones, nails and skin.
Also, lettuce microgreens calm the nervous system and may help fight sleep disorders. And thanks to its rich magnesium content, it strengthens the heart muscle and blood vessels.
In addition, lettuce normalizes blood sugar levels, reduces appetite and is beneficial for overweight people. It is also known that regular consumption of this plant reduces the risk of blood clots and varicose veins.
Sprouting lettuce seeds at home.
Prepare the substrate tray. Use coconut peat or linen, jute, or hemp rugs as substrate. Spread the seeds in an even layer on a damp substrate and cover the tray with the same inverted tray, or wrap it in cling film. Place the tray in a warm, dark place while the seeds are germinating. Keep the substrate moist by watering as needed. As soon as the seeds germinate, remove the foil and place the tray in a well-lit place or under a phytolamp. Moisten the seedlings periodically with a spray bottle. Grow for 10-14 days to get full seedlings.
