Greek oregano (Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum) is a compact plant, 30-70 cm high and 20-45 cm in diameter, with pointed, pubescent, green leaves (sometimes with thin purple veins).
This variety of oregano is easy to grow from seeds: it is recommended to sow seeds for seedlings from late winter to mid-spring. Sprinkle the seeds lightly on the surface of the pre-moistened soil, and keep warm and moist until germination takes place in 3-14 days at +20+30°C. Keep the seedlings in a well-lit place, pick out in separate pots in the future. Do not flood, at any stage of growth!
