For an early spring harvest, sowing is carried out in October-November; for the summer harvest - in March-May. Sow shallow in rows every 20 cm, sprinkle 1 cm with earth. For the continuity of the harvest, sowing is carried out at several times with an interval of 2-3 weeks. Regular watering is required. The crop is harvested as the leaves grow back. With a single harvest, the whole plant is pulled out, with multiple harvesting, the cut is made at a height of 1.5-2 cm from the soil surface.

The removed plants are used for food or planted in a new place (in early spring or at the end of summer). In dug bushes, the roots are shortened by 1/3, the leaves are cut at a height of 5-6 cm. The leaves are cut for the first time before flowering. The first arrows appear 2-3 weeks after the beginning of the regrowth of the leaves. They are cut along with the leaves, they are also juicy.
