Heads of cabbage are large, tightly twisted, weighing 1.5-1.7 kg. Sowing in July. It grows well on sandy or light loams.
Chinese cabbage is sometimes referred to as a leafy vegetable, because it is cut off like a raw salad before serving.
There are leaf semi-headed and typically headed forms. Cold-resistant, moisture-loving.
Very early crop, easy to grow in open and closed ground. A plant of a short daylight.
Prefers fertile soils with low acidity.
Sown as the main crop and as a compactor. 1 gram contains 260-310 seeds.
Embedding depth 1.5-2 cm. Seeding scheme 25 x 20 cm (for lettuce) and 30 x 40 cm (for head).
Harvesting begins in the 4-5 leaf phase, in the order of thinning, and the bulk in the 9-10 leaf phase.
