Hartweg's beardtongue "Sensation"
A perennial herbaceous, beautifully flowering plant, up to 70-80 cm high. In Estonia, it is cultivated as an annual.
Fiery red flowers up to 3-5 cm in diameter, collected in dense paniculate inflorescences, up to 15-25 cm long. Although they do not last long in water, they look great.
Widely used in landscaping - to create variegated flower beds and complement other flower arrangements. The inflorescences look great in bouquets. Can be grown in pots. The plant is a good honey plant.
