Adlay millet "Job's Tears"
Adlay millet "Tear" (Job's tears) - Coix lacryma-jobi.
It is an unusual 50-60 cm tall annual plant with tough stems, suitable for growing in tall beds to create floristic groups. In summer, the plants form drooping paniculate inflorescences, consisting of many small yellow flowers. After flowering, large seeds appear in the shape and size of falling drops of water, the color from purple to gray-white. Ripe dried seeds can be used to make rosary, beads and dry compositions. Seeds are sown into the ground in April at a distance of 15-20 cm. They are grown in a sunny place on not too dry fertile soil.
